Jenn started her music career in San Luis Obispo singing solo acoustic shows in local coffee houses. After college, she took her guitar to Europe and busked the streets of Paris, Venice and Prague. She then landed in San Francisco, where she established the Jenn Guttler band, which became a staple of the Bay Area folk-rock circuit.

Angels Here Among Us is the sum of these experiences, minimized. Hearkening back to her solo acoustic days, its sparse instrumentation highlights Jenn's powerfully intimate connection with her audience and the emotional content of her songs.

Songs from "Angels Here Among Us" made their commercial radio debut on:
San Francisco's KFOG

"She plays folksy rhythmic rock - a female Dave Mathews"
citysearch7.com

No longer an opening act, but a rising star building a legion of loyal fans who love her brand of introspective smart rock..."
Frank Warren
San Luis Obispo Focus

"She is a gem, a damn fine
performer, songwriter and person."
Glenn Starkey
San Luis Obispo New Times

"I enjoy seeing her live, she's funny and has great communication with the crowd"
James Paasche
Music Director of KCPR

"Don't let her sweet face fool you. Jenn's voice has attitude. Her music is lyrically driven and often brings to mind Ani Difranco, with a touch of Natalie Merchant, Tracy Chapman and strangely enough a female Eddie Vedder. Jenn also displays a talent and mastery over her guitar. Angels Here Among Us reads like a diary and feels like a live acoustic show. Jenn takes the tried and true girls folk rock and makes it her own. She's worth your time. Be the first in your neck of the woods to say "I loved her first". ".-rocketgirls.net
